Same here, I’m waiting to see the revamped Nexus 10 with the better processor as well before I buy my first tablet. I did get the N 7 for my folks for x-mas and played around with it. But Asus has Keyboards too which is always nice to have

Wasn’t the Memo supposed to be an expensive wacom digitizered tablet? The original 7″ Memo is still proper expensive now if you can find one.

I disagree with Logan here. Gave my mom a N7 for Christmas. She loves that thing. I still have to explain to her what a .zip file is, but she’s more comfortable with Android than Apple. That’s just my mom though. And I do have to answer the odd question here and there.

unless your parents are strict anti apple people, I would get them an iPad as their first tablet. As much as I love android, iOS has been much friendlier to my mom than anything else she has tried.

A thinner version of the TF300T, doesnt look much more on the spec end. I love the TF300T, even thought i bought it for my GF. Only complaint is it does tend to be laggy at times in browser.

Looks can only get a tablet so far. It’s got Nexus 7 specs with 3 more inches of real estate. It should be priced at least at the N7 price point. $199 or less. I get that it’s bigger but it seems most in the Android world prefer the small size for mobility and comfort. So bigger shouldn’t be pricier. At least in my book.

Who else things that Asus should use this name to make a GNote tablet competitor. I love my TF700T, but the only things it’s missing is the forward facing speakers and S-Pen of the GNote 10.1.
