ok a dongle to fix GPS…. how about wifi?? my wifi still sucks on my TP , i still love the tabet but I cant even get through a 20 minute netflix tv show

I bought a Xoom within a month of it being released (the ridiculously expensive one, not the wi-fi one). I didn’t have too many problems.

But with the GPS issues and all, I would still never pick my Xoom over my TP. It’s so much lighter, thinner, prettier, and faster. Just keep tellin’ yourself, “My GPS works!” if it makes ya feel better for not having a Prime.

There are no Transformer Primes that have data plans. All wi-fi only.

I bought my prime to use as a tablet, which is only on a wifi connection or playing games in the car that don’t require an internet connection. If I need GPS I just use my gnex, personally using a tablet for GPS is almost as crazy as using it for taking photos with. The prime works perfectly for what I use it for, I think I’ve fired up the GPS on the thing once since I got it.

I wishI would have been offered a refund, but they only draurslide that in Europe. I don’t get to use my prime because it doesn’t pick up my wifi signal unless I’m in the room with the router (which is where I keep my laptop) I bought the prime so I didn’t have to carry my 17″ laptop upthe stairs every night and on trips but the prime is useless in both of those situations.

Captain limp wrist… Xoom isn’t that heavy. Screen isn’t the greatest but then again my GPS does work.. (sorry love to poke fun at all the prime owners for previous smug comments about the Xoom)

I applaud the effort and fix.. but this thing is massively laughable & fugly and even worse, you cant charge while using it and GPS is one of the most battery sucking resources and now we have a dongle that can only be used sparingly and not on real long trips.
