I know.. 6 hours and he said he downloaded 4gb during that time with everything including brightness at 100%… I don’t think a single current android phone including 3g phones could do that.. if true, the gnex could get 24 hours with moderate usage

while nothing is a given, it should be possible to root it and probably even load custom roms if they can get clockwork recovery on it. What they can’t do is load a custom kernel. Not sure about any other limitations.

While it won’t be running it out of the box, one would assume that it’d be an OTA upgrade at some point, though it might be next summer before you see it.

I’ve had both brands and had issues with both Moto and HTC, no brand is perfect. I haven’t heard an abundance of complaints about the galaxy s2. so, Samsung must be improving.
