The exhibit is called "Picasso to Koons: Artist as
Jeweler." You probably will
recognize the names of barbour
jacket many of the more than one hundred artists represented at the barbour
jackets show. Names like
Georges Braque, Max Ernst, Alexander
Calder and Salvador Dali, Robert Rauschenberg and Louise Nevelson and barbour
uk.

One hundred thirty of the rings, necklaces,
barbour
ladies and
brooches are from the collection of art expert Diane Venet. She helped
to set up the exhibit.

 Ms. Venet
met French sculptor Bernar Venet about twenty-six years ago. A short
time later, he gave her a piece of quilted
jackets silver
designed as a ring. The ring celebrated the fact that they would soon be married. Ms. Venet said it was the first
piece of barbour
quilted jackets an
artist's jewelry she had ever had.

 As time
passed, Bernar Venet exchanged pieces with mens barbour
jacket artist friends
who sometimes created jewelry. Ms.
Venet's personal collection grew and grew, and she decided to exhibit it with works of barbour
mens the other artists.

 Holly
Hotchner is the director of the Museum of Arts and Design. She says the ladies barbour
jackets museum
considers jewelry as one of the most important forms of art today. She
notes that a piece of jewelry
kid’s barbour
jacket is not just a small version of a sculpture.

there is practicality, and then impulse. practical people, such as yourself, will be quite content with a phone that simply works. nothing wrong with it, but its not for everyone. impulsive people, such as myself, will buy a $500 phone. its also not wrong. different strokes for different folks, and all that. me, personally, its not a $500 phone. i am going to sell my previous phone, which is in almost new condition, which will offset the $500 tag on DX2. i estimate that i will get $200 for it, and at $300, having an off-contract DX2 for me is worth it

Ordered mine at 12:05 AM - I would have *liked* it to be an LTE device - but it wasn't a deal breaker as there is no LTE at my house, and I have no need for a FFC. The screen is what sold me - qhd on 4.3" should be an awesome upgrade from my OGD - which btw has absolutely been the most reliable mobile phone I've ever owned in the last 5 years.

why are you loving the full retail thing? who in the world wants to pay 500 for a phone? i understand that these are really nice, portable computers that happen to make phone calls (or the other way around?), but i hardly want to pay 500 for stuff i need, like tires on my car (which i didn't by shopping on ebay :) ) let alone a mobile phone (no matter how cool it is). is the perceived freedom really worth that much?

i havent graduated from my sissy little samsung glyde because of the unending roll out of android phones and their ever increasing price tags. it took me months to think i could handle what i thought was a plateau of $200 for most android phones, then they started going up again. and don't even bring up the price plans. 80+ a month is a bit much for having the world at my fingertips when i'm not at work, not driving to work, not with my wife, not sleeping, etc. etc.; which has got to add up to about 3hrs or something.

working in IT, i understand some of the reasons why new tech is pricey, but man i can put together a pretty good system for about 500 that does 90% of what one of these fancy phones does for me and then get a cheapo that makes calls for me when i'm not doing all that other stuff i just said.

that said, i'm not thrilled with a cheapo phone. i at least want a slide out keyboard or something for when i actually do want (not need) to do something fancy. i think i just want the standards to change a bit. for certain features (touch, qwerty, accelerometer maybe; stuff like that) to just be what comes in phones now a days without having my wallet lightened so much for them. cell phones have got to be one of the few things that never stopped moving forward with tech and up in price during this whole economic crunch, and we have the receipts to prove it.

i apologize if i sound like i'm ranting. i love this site and will continue to read about the crazy prices and cool features. i just suddenly felt like nobody cared about or the price tags on these things or noticed that this is just normal. kellex, i know you've brought up the northerly creep on device price, so what is there to like about that though?
