HTC Guidelines For Profitability:
1. Ink an expensive deal with another company to sell phones with features that no one wants or needs
2. Ink another expensive deal with a competitor so they don’t sue you later
3. Limit your devices to as few carriers as possible (bonus points if you ignore the largest carrier in America)
4. Spend as little as possible on product marketing

Facebook is at the beginning of a journey to it’s eventual demise. It’s just not “cool” anymore. First the geeks leave, then the cool kids, then everyone else.

It started with the IPO and continues as other social networks bleed Facebook of it’s user base. I for one will celebrate it’s passing.

G+, on it’s own, is so much better than FB. At least on a tablet anyhow. And, wihtout a doubt, way more functional. The only issue is people hav become so involved with FB that it’s hard to find people who use G+ as a primary portal.

Seriously though, if people began to adopt Google+, they would never mention FB again. Only reason I still use FB is because my cooworkers and fam us it. But, I really wish people would take time to discover how awesom G+ really is.

What they should do … give it onscreen buttons put an onscreen Facebook button. Then when they realize how horrible of an idea this is they can remove the button and promote as mid tier phone.

I bet dollar for dollar they did alright with that phone. Facebook probably gave them some money for it and it didn’t cost a lot for them to make or marketing.

Somebody buying a FB phone probably doesn’t know what RAM, 720p, or processor means.
