It’s a shame us nexus owners have to resort to such measures to not pay $90 plus tax to have POGO charging and MHL, HDMI Mirroring enabled in Landscape dock Mode.
I’m sure when Ubuntu is released this will come down significantly in price.
As of now, too rich for my blood.
There is no guarantee that the POGO docks or any combination of charging and mirroring methods will maintain battery recharge rates faster than the discharge rate. Side note: How does it function? Stats please. 5V POGO @ ?V discharge rate…. as I’m eager to just throw my money at Samsung but I cant justify the value. $110 dollars will buy me a amd quad-core FX 4100. When im sitting on ONE C-Note. Id rather spend my money elsewhere………….. I still want it just for $50 bucks max.Using the MHL adapter setup: the phone discharges at a rate faster than it recharges I’m hoping the POGO adapter offsets this by routing charge both ways. 1.Charge by the POGO and 2.charge via the MHL/USB Charger Port. Enabling Full blue tooth keyboard and mouse enabling, not only dock mode but a semi- quasi Google Desktop.
Any advice would be help full.

The inherent flaw in galaxy nexus is the omission of dedicated HDMI and the addition of POGO.( HTC EVO 4G had this feature 4 years AGO)

I updated the XDA thread, but I found a way to do this mod without scratching the crap out of the dock with sandpaper. Just scrape the left side of the dock down with a box cutter and it works perfect!

It’s depressing because this is another way Verizon/Samsung is screwing with its customers. Also, it’s pretty easy for someone to install the root kit, click the mouse, and have an unlocked boot loader, customer recovery, and then install a new ROM. Taking sandpaper, a dremel, or anything else to literally whittle away at something is just ridiculous.

I am not defensive about my original post after the first 2 comments. In fact, if I were.. I would have replied to the guy who pointed out that the picture was posted in xda. It is people like you that I enjoy rattling coz of your motivation to go trolling around replying to comments not directed at you or anything in particular with vitriolic hatred..
