Want to Get Your Hands on a Verizon Galaxy Nexus Early?

At this point, most of us are expecting the Galaxy Nexus on Verizon to arrive at the end of next week (likely December 9). More and more stores and employees are being notified by the minute, a good sign that Big Red has finally locked down a date. If you can’t wait a week though, the Samsung store in the Shops at Columbus Circle in NYC has them on display for you to play with right now. You can’t buy one or anything, but your paws can feel the Ice Cream Sandwich chills.

Cheers Will!

i want the nexus tebow.  the phone shows 10% battery in the first half of the day but than jumps to 100% after lunch. :)

    • Anonymous

it also displays bible verses, and takes a break to pray every few minutes

    • Anonymous

It also gets terrible reviews and constant scrutiny, but still out-performs the competition.

  • Jd1970

Was there yesterday. Played with the phone for about 20 minutes… Has me torn between the Rezound and this..

    • http://twitter.com/droid1967 Droid 1967

yeah all 3 phones are decent.  for 720 displays obviously its the rezound and the nexus.  they will operate similairly but the omap processor is slightly better. obviously no sdcard on the nexus is a drawback.  if rezound gets s-off and perm root it will be very comparable.  if that doesnt matter to you than the big advantage is ics is there and dont buy the ics on other devices in january.  the hardware companies might have it done so if its open there will be leaks but other than that verizon will hold up the updates until the first set of non nexus phones released with ics come out.
But if either is ok you will definatley be-able to find the rezound cheaper.

      • Evan Knofsky

Only reason not to go with the rezound is how memory intensive Sense is, I just hope HTC’s sense for ICS will be slimmed down a lot.

        • GotSka81

For HTC’s sake I hope so too.  I don’t plan on buying a Rezound, and part of that decision is because Sense has gotten so bloated and slow that it kills the above average hardware on the Rezound.  By all counts, the Rezound should be the winner of this three-way battle, but alas…

  • Gregd9288

I went to the samsung experience store myself to experience the Galaxy Nexus.  While I came away extremely impressed and there is no doubt in my mind I will have this phone in my hand as soon as it comes out one thing is stilling pressing me and that is this release date nonsense.  While I am an adroider for life it bothers me that Google did not take proper care of these issues earlier and Verizon needs to step up to the plate and give us some info.  It is terrible that companies such as Google and Verizon would do this to its loyal customers.  For instance Apple would never do this with the iphone.  It is thuroughly checked through and through.  Verizon please release this phone and Google step up to the plate it is embarassing!

    • Anonymous

Apple never did this with the iPhone? The iPhone 4s/5 went through mountains of rumors and release dates before it finally got released. And when it did it was a HUGE let down so I do know why you think Apple never did this before with their products.

      • http://twitter.com/UrGfWasNevaUrs Young

Apple always has a release date for their products once they’re announced.

        • Anonymous

That’s besides the point. Just because Apple does not release any information until a week or two before the release date does not make it a saint. How long did we have to wait for the iPhone 4s to be announced/released? Please, just sit back and wait for the Galaxy Nexus.

  • am79

Just got back from Samsung Experience.  Galaxy Nexus…is…SICK!!!  Feels awesome in the hands, and i have small hands.  It is remarkably light and NOT cheap feeling at all.  Feels quite premium despite its weight.  One of the reps there has an unlocked GSM version and you can tell that it is a noticeable difference in thickness compared to Verizon’s version.  The screen is the best I’ve ever seen on a smartphone.  The UI will take some getting used to.  Confused for a second, I kept looking for the menu button. You are all as passionate about this phone as I am and I’m telling you, having it in your hands exceeds our expectations.  I’m getting one from Expansys as soon as I can come up with the money!  GO CHECK IT OUT!!!

Kellex, its been almost a day. Need moar news.

    • Anonymous

Seriously. I checked the site several times today hoping to see a new post. What a let down. I actually had to do stuff.

      • Keith Sumner

Since October there hasn’t been a single fruitful or reliable prediction about an accurate or even slightly truthful release date, so what do you want?

        • Anonymous

Who said anything about wanting a release date, Keith? All I said was that I wanted to see a new post. I was tired of the same, “Want to get your hands on a Nexus” article. So, what do I want? I want a new post. Oh look, there it is.

    • Keith Sumner

Yes, these hungry trolls need you to confirm again that the phone still hasn’t been announced by Verizon, as soon as you finish your morning coffee please let them know.

  • Android7x

Quick question since I’m a little confused… Can anyone explain to me what the importance of the G-Nex lacking Mass USB storage is?  All I really want to know is if i can plug my G-Nex into the computer and transfer my backed up files from my desktop to my phone and vice versa.

    • Anonymous

You’ll be able to do that, I’m sure.

    • KevinC

it’s not important.  it’s actually better.  usb mass storage requires you to unmount a partition to make it accessible to a computer.  mht transfer allows the computer and phone to access the partition at the same time.

      • Stewie

Spot on target, though the issue is certain devices may not support the format, if you have a win 7 PC, you will be fine.

    • Anonymous

If you use Windows you’ll be fine but if you use a Mac or Linux you’re up shit creek, for now.

Just left the store… couldn’t get my hands on one because two guys were surgically attatching the two phones to their hands. Would not budge or acknowledge the dozen people waiting for them. Oh well, five more days!

  • Heero Yuy

I love droid-life. Should change the name to “Geek-fight.” I’d pay money to watch you guys duke it out over smartphone hearsay. News flash- OEMs are putting out better spec’d phones all the time. Might only be one nexus for a year, but I bet there will be a better spec’d Samsung smartphone out soon… Too late, it arrived last January! Lol. Just a thought, but how old is the hardware in the G-Nex if ICS was written for it? I know Google didn’t write ICS overnight.

  • tmoneysonfire@twitter

customer walked into my Verizon Wireless retail store today with a Samsung Nexus today I said OMG where the hell did you get that…then I remembered that you could buy the device unlocked like eight days ago, then I saw on the front facing a T-mo signature, haha T-mo slow network w/hspa+data throttling = fail!!! Vzw+LTE the future will be here soon!

    • http://twitter.com/droid1967 Droid 1967

throttling yes !!  but you guys that have never use hspa+ sound like iphone sheep.
i get 10-12 down and 2-4 up.  mabe not lte speeds when perfect but plenty enough and works just fine.  biggest thing is i have that here wont have lte probably until 2013.
and unless your grandfathered your limited on verizon also.
and i have seen few perfect lte signals. and these speeds are about the same as average lte speeds i have seen.
and there is no connection issues when dropping 4g/3g on hspa+.
the also have areas and phones that can get faster on hspa+.
so while lte theatrically is faster its not an always given unless your under a tower.im keeping my verizon for the unlimited but tmobiles network kicks the shit out of it here.
and i can tether all i want without any special programs.  your suppose to pay 15 bucks i think but they have never said a thing. just using the built in tether stuff.

Here is some 70mbps LTE for ya, to bring you back to reality…

        • Justin Kos

thats disgusting, i just threw up

          • http://twitter.com/droid1967 Droid 1967

dont throw up its not on verizon and wont be for the near future.  the nexus might even be released before those speeds are obtained :)

          • Anonymous

You don’t know what you’re talking about. Get your facts straight…

          • http://twitter.com/droid1967 Droid 1967

those are the facts. real world experience.  most people will not get even 20mbs down period.  the technology is there but the frequency causes such a loss of signal you have to be very close and non obstructed to get the speeds you are talking about.  its just not right to make people think im getting the nexus and 73mbs speed its just not what most will experience.

          • Anonymous

            Again get your facts straight.
And I never said users will be seeing constant 70mbps. I posted it so that people can see what the real world peak speeds are, under the normal conditions, in NYC, and so that you can see how wrong you were comparing your 10-12mbps peak speeds do Verizon’s LTE.

          • http://twitter.com/droid1967 Droid 1967

my phone is only 14 max so dont know what the 42mb(got it right :) ) would do. but those are prestine conditions not normal conditions(at this time) but by full rollout maybe that would be awesome.  I never said anything bad about lte just that hspa+ wasnt that bad.  and in the normal tests even on my lower sped radio’d phone its not far off from the avg users posted tests.  but anyways.
you win if thats what you want. i never said lte wasnt better and my reality is much closer to reality than yours was(at this time) but does look like a nice future.

        • http://twitter.com/droid1967 Droid 1967

yeah thats really nice.   how about not false advertising.
were not talking theoretical, talking real world.
this does not pertain since there isnt a phone that handles that handles those speeds. in fact im not sure there is any device on verizon or att that handle those speeds.
so nice try but get your false pictures out of here. that is not on verizon period. and it shows your maturity that you think someone would believe that bull.
and its idiotic i didnt say hspa+ was better than LTE i said its not so bad. and where i am its better than the no LTE.

          • Anonymous

Wait so you’re saying that I own some kind of LTE lab in my house so I’m peaking at these speeds?
Let me give you a quick lesson, apologize later…
Each LTE Category 3 UE is capable of 100mbps down and 50mbps up. That’s limited by Verizon’s 10Mhz channel to 73.6mbps theoretical speeds. Therefore in real world situations it’s possible to peak at the speeds I provided, and it’s very common to see speeds in excess of 60mbps.

Now take it down a notch, and stop changing your post. Think before you write next time. mkay…?

          • http://twitter.com/droid1967 Droid 1967

and hspa+ thearetically is 56mbs and phones sold that supposedly support that galaxy s-2 on tmobile.
its not real world expectation speeds. and i wasnt arguing that lte wasnt good or better just that hspa+ isnt that bad as many continue to say.  its even better when you have it and dont have lte on the horizon.  would i buy a phone on verizon without lte NO!.
you the one that came off as argumentative”bring you back reality” or whatever. i didnt say anything pertaining to what lte could do.
and your supposed real world is just not that for the majority of people.  per your theoretical than hspa+ jsut isnt far behind.  56 or 73 does that even matter very few sites will feed that to you anyway.
I changed my posts as i continued to research and found that the lte devices would do those high speeds. but not 1 review or article did i read that expected anything more than 10-15 down as an expected average. which is all i was saying.
Im really not sure what your response was meant to be other than argumentative and if we bring theoretical speeds than hspa+ looks even better.  fact is neither will hit those speeds at this time except in pristine circumstances. and they both average about the same.
1 advantage to LTE for sure is it appears all LTE radios will handle those speeds while there are different radios handeling different speeds for hspa+ like i am in a great area but G2X is a lower speed radio so not sure what id hit on the galaxys-2 but that would require a new phone.

          • Anonymous

I have no idea what you just said, but T-Mobile DC-HSPA doesn’t max at 56mbps. It maxes at 42mbps. Again, please do some more research before you post as you’re misleading.
And speeds that I posted are possible on a regular Category 3 LTE UE. I used HTC Rezound, will be trying on Galaxy Nexus once I get it to compare.

          • http://twitter.com/droid1967 Droid 1967

not sure if your still following this.  but the speed tests up today in the article are what i am talking about people seeing. on the tmobile front your right :) it was the 56 new markets that put 56 in my head.  but still fast theoretically.  please let us know wht you get on the nexus. you must live under a tower since i havent seen anyone else get those speeds.  and i made a mistake with the numbers in my head :)  but saying people will get 73mbs is misleading its just not gonna happen for the majority , maybe in 2013 when they are totallly rolled out.
anyway man not sure what your fight is.  all i said in the beginning was hspa+ isnt that bad. and its not.  wouldnt take it over lte but i dont see it coming until 2013 here . But please post what you get on the nexus for comparison with the rezound thanks.

      • GotSka81

I looked into switching to TMobile when Verizon turned down the GS2 a few months ago, and decided against it when I discovered their network didn’t give even 3G signal in most places I frequent.  With Verizon, I can count the number of places on one hand where I’ve had no service.  It’s fair to say that HSPA+ isn’t a bad technology, but it’s clear that Verizon’s network is more widespread.  Also, please consider that the term 4G and what can be called 4G is not nearly as regulated as it once was.  4G speeds on Tmobile are only marginally better than 3G speeds on Verizon.

They do, because according to Motorola, they told samsung/google to lock it down, and unlike the big eared Jhaboy, Samsung/Google told them to FO, take it or leave it … Lies moto, lies …

      • Anonymous

        According to Motorola?  Link please.

        • http://twitter.com/droid1967 Droid 1967

think he means motorola being told to lock their phone. which mott didnt say they alluded to it that the razr was locked due to verizon. But noone knows for sure if thats true. it may just be moto making the illusion it was verizon when it was them. but no i dont think moto said verizon told them to lock down the nexus.

          • Anonymous

Well Moto’s phones are unlocked outside the US so there must be some truth to their claim that it’s Verizon and the carriers requesting it. I thought he was saying Moto posted some claim that Verizon told Google and Samsung to lock their phone down too.

    • Manuel Olague

Specs mean almost nothing in real life. If you’ve seen the HTC Rezound review and reviews for other HTC phones, even with all that processing power they still don’t perform very well, while the Droid Bionic can out-perform an HTC phone with a 1GHz dual-core processor.

    • Anonymous

Thats the name of the store.

Saavy buyers may want to keep their eyes and ears open to craigslist listings. Lots of folks are trying to offload their fairly recent phones to score a Samsung Nexus as a replacement. A great time to get a recent phone off contract.

I usually buy a phone once every six months this way and stay just one model behind the top tier, always off contract. Even though at this point, I would not ever likely leave verizon, it’s just nice having no contract to worry about.

    • Gerg04

Want to buy my thunderbolt??? Beautiful, great condition, minor minor paint chip on bottom. ABSOLUTELY nothing wrong with this beast

why does samsung only give love to New York? Seems like that favor the Yankees to the Westerners (Galaxy Tab 10.1)

  • Anonymous

I just got back from checking it out. Still very thin, lighter than you would expect, but still felt very very solid. Battery life was inline with what you would expect from a top tier LTE phone (probably get through a full day if you don’t mess with it too much). The screen is beautiful and videos really look amazing. There were some small hesitations in the software still which was disappointing to see.

    • RWWIII

So you were able to evaluate the battery life of a display phone HOW?

      • Anonymous

        lol yeah exactly.

      • Anonymous

I talked to 2 Samsung reps who have the HSPA version of the phone and from their comments and the half hour I put the G-Nex through it’s paces (unplugged the entire time), even though it had cell service deactivated, I made a guess. Seems like the screen turned on bright is still fairly reasonable on battery life for it’s size. other tasks such as playing games and listening to music didn’t seem to have an unreasonable impact on battery life. So unless the LTE modem is unreasonable (and there is no ability to disable that radio) I think power will be decent 12+ hours of normal use.

you stream 720p netflix it’s going to murder things but I think that’s to be expected.

    • Mark Wilk

I read that as “launch” and got excited.

  • Mohammed Uddin

Just came from the store. It was awesome . Its real thin and I love the curve. For a minute I forgot it wasn’t mine and I took off the white wire and the beeps started. Is it weird that when they asked me to give it back I screamed no and hugged it like a baby?

  • NotoriousNeo

Exciting. It’s like the perfect marriage of the Rezound (screen, software) and Razr (design thinness, speed). I have a feeling that’s why Verizon’s been mum over it. They know once it’s out there will be no reason to pick the other two unless if you’re are a hardcore Sense fan, person that hates Samsung products, mentally challenged or AngelFace77 (is that last one redundant? =P).

  • Yellowcanary73

Does this have the same screen blotches that the razor has during dark scenes when watching movies, youtube.

    • NotoriousNeo

The potential is there. I took a Samsung Droid Charge into our backroom and shut off all the lights and could spot some of those weird splotches I honestly never noticed before and couldn’t see in regular lighting.

  • Creed74

Gah! What a boneheaded move. This is obvioulsy not a VZW corporate store or is it? The display units gets shipped a week or so ahead of release and usually do NOT have the shipping release on them ever. Before they go on display they are SUPPOSED to be updated via a direct connect to an in-house PC that receives updates just for demo units.

I have ZERO idea what is different about the updates but I do know that for the GN that 4.0.2 and 4.1.0 have been pushed OTA to field test units. The demo unit updates haven’t even been sent to store computers yet. I mean it’s great to see some actually in the wild but uniots that aren’t even supposed to be on display yet and haven’t been upgeaded to the release OS version can lead to more silly suppositions than needs be,

The phone already has already become the Snuffleupagus of 2011 Android phones. Why make it’s first US appearance look any worse than it already does.

    • Anonymous

It’s the Samsung Experience space in Time Warner Center. It’s a showroom for their current and future tech with events and seminars for different topics. It’s like the Sony Style spaces that are in major capitals. Not VZW related at all.

      • Sp4rxx

        “and future tech….”

So that must mean, you must continue to wait….

      • Creed74

Thanks Dw_astor. I couldn’t imagine a VZW corp. store running out a display model w/o being flashed. I miss a lot of nice stuff living in a city of less than 800k but I prefer the small town atmosphere usually.

: So I’m actually sitting in the Samsung store now (Columbus Circle) on one of their Chromebooks. Just had my hands on experience with the Galaxy Nexus (after about 25 minutes of waiting, lol). But anyhow, the device impressed me. It’s everything we’ve all been waiting for and I’m sooo excited to finally have one this month!

Oh, and btw, is it bad that today is my birthday? Haha. 22.

  • Welwood

By the time I got there, they were shooing people away from taking pics/videos because it appears that blogger central had happened prior to my arrival and people were taking like 15 mins with the ONE Nexus they have, setting up shots etc so they axed all photos/videos and they hovered around to make sure that people only got a minute or so with it.

So, no vid/pics. I DID get to size it up vs a GS2 that was right next to it though, and it’s almost the exact same width, and thickness, it’s much longer/taller and feels about 30% lighter. It’s not as light/thin as the thinnest part of the Razr, but it’s about as thick as the thickest part. It’s running 4.0.1 atm. It did have bloatware as the pic above shows.

It’s fast, very, very fast, it’s not nearly as huge feeling as a Thunderbolt, and I don’t have giant hands. Absolutely LOVE the look and feel of ICS.

The manager of the store had absolutely no clue when they’d be allowed to sell it, he claimed to have no idea why they couldn’t sell it today or what the holdup was. They seemed legitimately surprised the response that the phone had, and seemed to have no idea that there was such a appetite for it. The employees said that they had a TON of phone calls today about the phone and were wondering what all the hubbub was about…which was a bit disconcerting honestly.

Overall, I’m actually excited about the phone, it’s really well constructed and didn’t feel flimsy at all, but it’s certainly no Thunderbrick.

    They are not prepared…

I say somebody goes back tomorrow to get a video!

      • Welwood

Whatever you do, do NOT tell them you’re with a blog or any type of web anything, they will refuse to let you video or take pics.

It’s worrisome that it doesn’t have the 4.1 update. I hope this doesn’t indicate that updates need to be approved or passed through Verizon!

      • Cam

I don’t think the Euro GNs have 4.1 yet either.

    • http://profiles.google.com/cynicist Robert Rak

Which do you think feels better in the hand between the GS2 and the Nexus?

      • Welwood

I like the lighter Nexus. I’m used to a DInc, and when the Thunderbrick came out, it was  too big, too heavy, and  the Razer is light, but omg wide. This is a great mix, and didn’t feel too big/heavy/wide. I liked it.

        • mons

Have you ever played with a Samsung Infuse, by any chance?  That’s the biggest phone I’ve ever held and it’s too big for me at 71 mm.  My DX is 65.5 mm, and is comfortable, but seems like it’s approaching the upper limit of comfort for my hands.  The GN is 67.94, so I’m hoping it’s still comfortable.  The Infuse is just too wide for me.

Spoke with our local Best Buy and the rep I spoke with said it was suppose to come out on the 8th but hes not sure if they will have it since its not in their system. Said VZW may sell it themselves a while before they let others. Is that normally the case? I have a $131 gift card to Best Buy waiting to be used lol.

It seems that the geeks may finally get the nexus. I will check ICS in verizon when it arrives. I know the device itself will not be as good as the razr.

    • Wondering

What does the RAZR have over the SGN in terms of hardware?  Honestly asking, I thought the SGN was superior in almost every way, except maybe for the camera’s megapixel count.

      • Anonymous

The razr has best sound. Features, better radios, build quality, gorilla glass, hdmi mirror, moto cast, smart actions. Do you want me to keep on lol? Sent from my Verizon Wireless 4G LTE Phone

the nexus has a better removable battery, a better screen, mht HDMI output, usb host, hardware acceleration

          • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_LQNNJDZQIWIIHJWUIUV7R24XAM Aaron

I don’t know why an mhl port is better than an independent hdmi port. Last thing I would want is to have to use some adapter. It reminds me of when phones didn’t have 3.5mm headphone jacks.

        • http://twitter.com/expertontech Tylar Overturf

Radio can’t be determined yet. The RAZR does have better build quality. Nexus has hdmi out. Gorilla glass is just name. The glass on the Nexus is the same type of glass. Motocast really isn’t to great because you have to leave you computer on and smart actions are pretty cool but ICS is way more worth it then that. Nexus also has a better processor, better screen, unlocked bootloader, gets updates first, better camera. All the reviews says it the best smartphone.

        • Anonymous

Yes, please keep on..because you make yourself look more and more retarded after every single post you make. I like Moto but the Nexus wins this by a long shot..give it up you POS

If you feel i am retarded? What are you lol? You took the time to write to my comment. Nexus is made by Samsung, which means it sucks period. Moto won 2009 with the droid, 2010 with droidx and now with the razr.

Screen is a matter of opinion. But the Rezound and Nexus screens are better then the RAZR’s.

But the nexus won’t have the best display. The rezound does. I would not be surprised if the rezound dethrone the nexus.

It’s a nice piece of hardware running a stock version of the new OS, that’s the big attraction. Blur, Sense, Touchwiz all suck. But it also has a much better display and faster camera. Add ICS to it and the Razr looks obsolete.

Don’t forget the fact that Moto (and others) havent started making button-less phones yet. They will, starting probably around sprint time you’ll see them.

RAZRMAX is coming, the Razr is already an afterthought

          • Anonymous

after the razrmax another better device will come out lol. When you have your nexus, the gs3 will shit on it. As a matter of fact the rezound is better than the nexus. We know the razr is the king of 2011. The best device inside and out.

And an unlocked bootloader, and no blur to hog resources, and no Big ear Jhaboy to lie to you and say VZ forced them to lock the phones they sell down. Man, if you believe that I have a bridge in Brooklyn …

Moto makes great hardware, what they do with it is screw over the existing customer base time and again. You honestly going to tell us you are ok with a razrmax coming out RIGHT after you locked yourself into a razr?

Enough moto lies, enough moto shenanigans …

We’ll be on 4.3.7 by the time they re-tool blur for your razr for 4.0.1

It’s hilarious how much you people have to have your updates.  I turn updates off on my apps, you know why?  Because updates often break things, introduce ads or remove features.

not true at all.   i would not want the razor under any circumstances, at this time..  if it came out in july probably maybe even locked. but at this time id wait until january. i went and looked at the razr.  kevlar my ass its a coating nothing more.
phone looks stupid with 90% thin than double width at top.  and it has blur(which if unlocked could be taken off i guess) but there wasnt even a hint of i need this phone.

          • Anonymous

The razr is the best device inside and out. You can say whatever you want about blur and unlock boot loader, but it is still the best out of the 3.

          • Guest

            it sucks!!

what is with this grudge of yours toward the nexus? and the only problem you can come up with is that you don’t like samsungs radios and gps? you never have any other argument. the phone is perfect, you can’t deny it.

moto products are no better then samsung in anyway besides build quality. because every phone i have used from them is ugly, locked down, with blur.

          • Stewie

I’ve seen the gps and radio issues with some Samsung devices, but it’s like windows vista – some had nothing but trouble with it, and some had none at all.

From initial reads, the camera quality may not be there inthe Nexus, but …  until we actually get a look at the actual 4G unit it is all speculative. In addition, pic quality is in the eye of whomever is viewing it is it not?

          • Guest

          • Anonymous

Oh yeaa just build quality. What about UI, build, quality, radios, speakers, gps, moto cast, smart actions. I love the new blur better than sense, touchwiz. You are holding a grudge on Moto because they have a lock boot loader.

          • Guest

            …..

          • Anonymous

wtf could possibly be better about the UI on a motorola phone, then stock ICS first of all. it doesn’t matter if you prefer blur over sense and touchwiz because the nexus has stock, not sense.

i would consider a razr if it didn’t mean i was locked with blur. because i hate blur more then anything. if it shipped with stock ICS i would definitely consider it if the nexus were not being released. but why would i ever choose motorola gps and build quality (that you constantly rave about) over shitty locked-down software?

          • Anonymous

You did not get it as usual. I did not like the stock GB on the old nexus, but the UI i love the most right now is ICS then Moto.

          • Anonymous

Are you saying that the new Moto UI is bad lol? That showed me that you are a newbie. Moto has the second best UI right now. ICS is the best one from what i saw on the Google event. I hope they can fix those 15 bugs already.

          • Anonymous

what 15 bugs, do you have a source of this? but first off all new software has bugs in them, but they can be fixed easily by google. especially since this is a google phone it is there top priority to make sure bugs are fixed as soon as possible. so you would have to be an idiot to decide a phone like this is bad just because of some bugs and a radio/gps.

          • Anonymous

Yea, idiot, but it’s not only Google we are talking about. Samsung has all the radios problems and gps; i don’t even want to mention the poor call quality and speaker. Do you feel if the Moto would have made the nexus i will be dishing it? I do not think so :) Like i always said Samsung is my second choice not my first.

        • str8rippinem

I just returned a Gs2 and it shits on the Razr in every way. This is coming from a long time motorola fan. I picked up a Bionic for 2 weeks and hated moto ever since. Just realize that Samsung is the way to go now. Quit hatin bucko
