All these new phones coming out so close together makes me not want to upgrade at all. I feel like whatever I buy will be obsolete within the next 2-3 weeks after purchase.

The whole point of the Nexus phones was to have a straight up google experience. It comes with the newest version of android at the time, in our case ICS, all the google apps and nothing more. No bloatware, no VZW BS.

If it does come with all the bloatware I wouldn’t even think of it as a re-branded Nexus phone but just as new phone from Samsung with the newest version android.

motorola will be fine.. trust me…

bionic will sell very well to the regulars out there. That lame ninja girl is a perfect sell for the average consumer . flash back a while ago…. the droid x sold well, even though there was a core which chose to stay with the original motorola droid,,, in geek land the bionic will be a bit of a let down.

though keep in mind larry page stated the acquisition of motorola mobility will be a hands off approach for the first year under el goog… After that, the campus will have total control of motorola mobility…

that is when it will get really interesting..

I cannot recall what google executive stated this, but it is there intention to have a unique nexus handset per carrier within the next year. the intrigue continues……………………….

i purchased the og droid on november 6th in manhattan at 12:30 a.m. – only about 30 people waiting outside on a cold night. november 7th was the official release date. I continued to use the og droid til about last month. Lagorama…. i did not want to renew my contract with verizon so i purchased a used droid x to hold me over till the next successor. worthy of renewing my contract. In hand with a droid x i can wait another year… that does not mean i will not have heavy expectations…

I have the Charge too, and I thought maybe it was just mine.. The GPS is so bad its not even funny. It takes 10 mins to search for satellite, then it’ll have me driving in the middle of a river, wrong streets, etc.. sucks

I ultimately think it would be extremely smart for Verizon to release the Bionic, Vigor, revolution, and Prime.. This would be a Huge chance for Verizon to gain a bigger following, steal customers from AT&T, T-mobile and Sprint right before the Big Merge of T-mo AT&T..
With such a huge Smartphone following now a days, if you release 4-5 of the best phones on the market all in a month, and all on the same carrier, theres gonna be alot of action!

When people know the Prime will be only on Verizon, and 4g LTE, you’ll get quite a few people jumping ship and going to Big Red!
