Actually, a lot of other companies release software much different from Google and I happen to prefer their methods better.

Perhaps being close-minded gives you the assumed authority of belittling other peoples intelligence, when in fact you are having issues processing your own.

On the latest nightly there was a notifications light bug where custom settings would not hold, but that was fixed today. Other then that nothing, it really is as good as CM7 from my OG droid days! Speed is far beyond anything for D2, and as for functionality its CM7, everything could be broken and it would have more than most ROMs. So get CM7 for D2 2day

plus keeping it in beta allows them to make the service free google doesn’t want to charge for any services they offer.. so just call it BETA!

The Slide team is just the people who used to work for Slide before Google bought them… not really anything fancy, they are just keeping their old company name. And you can go to the Slide website and request an invite (I don’t know how fast they get back to you).
