Prepare to be teased!

While many of us have been enjoying Adobe’s Flash 10.1 on our Motorola Droids due to a bundle of Android 2.2 leaks over the last few weeks, this new video should get you all really excited. Seeing the Droid X in all its 4.3″ glory with full Flash is quite a sight…

We know that the plan is for the DX to launch with Android 2.1 on the 15th and then receive Froyo some time in August, but tell me, how hard is that wait going to be? Especially with the rest of the Droid 1 owners possibly getting it throughout the week of the 13th.

This truly is the “Summer of Droid.”

I rooted my Motorola Droid today to Froyo 2.2 and successfully achieved superuser permission (ninja icon). I verified using Terminal Applicator that I have administration rites granted by typing SU. However, the adobe Flash player 10.1 that I desperately need doesn't seem to be working. I used the same web site as in this demo (Grid Shock on Kongregate) but Adobe didn't work. Am I missing something? Is there a feature I have to turn on? In web browser i verified under settings that enable java script is clicked on. can someone help me get Adobe flash to work please.

as glad as i am that we have flash on android, i have to say that's a pretty disappointing demo. it's clear that all the content has been specially re-worked for mobile devices (the game is even called fat slice mobile) and it still doesn't scroll smoothly. i want to know how regular flash that i will encounter on the regular web will work. after all, isn't the supposed benefit of flash that we have the same content on computers and phones?

Would Verizon Really Be That Mad That We All Have Froyo 2.2 On Our Droid 1's, Because To Me Its Gotta Be Out There Somewhere To Be “Leaked Unofficially”. Honestly My Droid 1 Running BBV0.4 Everything Is Smooth Including Flash Player So With That Said I Guess Verizon Can Take Their Sweet Time Releasing The Official Update. =)

DL Community….please try this for yourselves and tell me if what I am seeing is worth beleiving.

I have watched video content on yahoo every day since I got my Droid and never once had a problem. Last night when I tried to watch a clip of the latest news headlines, I received an error stating the video cannot be played. After experimenting with the UA String settings, I changed to “desktop” in the browser and tried again but this time it downloaded the video to my SD card in i*hone.qt format! What the hell is that all about? QuickTime….are they serious?

I sent them an email asking politely not to favor the i*phone, but don't expect a response. Please tell me if this is true I will not be the only one to boycott them. Thanks for letting me rant. Have a DroidLife day and try to keep cool. Its a hot one here on the east coast

I will let u all know for sure if it has flash this afternoon… My friend works for VZW and has the test phone already I've played with it and everything a couple days ago. He was telling me while I was using it that he played a video in the browser but I forgot to check it out. I will go look at it today on my launch and let you guys know whats up

They're adding all these features from 2.2 to their mangled copy of 2.1 Why not just release it with Froyo. Motorola, stop over-complicating things, you're just pissing off the customers!(yes I know they wont read this.) I don't understand why they want to encrypt the bootloader either. If they aren't worried about the minority that would flash their phones, when not just leave it unencrypted and let that tiny % of their customer base do what they want with devices the BUY?
