If you act quickly, well you do have 24 hours technically, then you can grab Rovio’s Tiny Thief for free off of Amazon’s Appstore for Android. The game is listed on Google Play and other stores for $3 usually, so this is a total steal. The deal is so good that I actually downloaded the Amazon Appstore just for this, so that should tell you something.
In Tiny Thief, you play a cute little character, who must go through tons of different levels to collect booty. The levels are very playful, and some are quite tricky. In essence, each level is its own puzzle which you must solve, complete with baddies in each one. It’s a great game, and we think it is Rovio’s best work in some time.

This is great and all, but unfortunately for me I paid the full $2.99 for the game on Play when it was first released. But then again, maybe it’s better that way considering that as we all know devs don’t update their apps as often on Amazon App Store versus on Play Store.

The reason this is Rovio’s best work in a while is, well…it’s not. 5 Ants developed this game.
Rovio is more recognizable, 5Ants is not, which is why D-L used Rovio in the title instead.
Or maybe they had another reason. lol
Yeah I realize that’s probably why but I really like this game so I just wanted to bring up 5 Ants. There’s also a 5 Ants Easter egg in the last level.
Is the amazon app store still full of suck like it use to be? Like not being able to use apps offline, and it causing wake locks? I usually buy the free apps of the day on Play if I like them because of that.
I don’t know, but it is going to take more than a game to talk me into installing it back onto my phone. That app caused all sorts of headaches I am not eager to repeat!
Its not nearly as bad. At least things load within a few seconds now. My only problem with it is ever so often (few months or so) the apps loose connection or something and comes up with a message saying needs an internet connection then quits even if you are on data or wifi. To fix it you have to FC the appstore and clear the data then sign in again to stop the message.
I’ve never had any issue with using the app store battery or playing offline (I don’t try the latter very often admittedly). They’ve updated the app quite a bit in the last year. I would not buy an app from them because they are still terribly slow to make updates available, but for free apps it’s great.
It is much faster than it used to be, but there is still one glaring issue for updating an app (when they get around to it). It always gives me an package parsing error for every update. I have to uninstall the app and then go get it again. Royal PITA!
Love this game! My only complaint is that I’m out of levels, needs an update that adds more.
