  • i had a pair for a month before returning them. That was the best thing google did. if you had the space on your credit card you could try them out for a month with no risk…unless you broke them. Picked them up at google headquarters in manhattan…which was awesome. Got to play with the Pixel for a bit.

They were fun and a great conversation piece but that was it. Great idea but now that android wear is here and i can get notifications on my wrist…i dont really need to wear a camera all the time…Yet.

  • At this point I would hold off for Gen II. This processor is already starting to lag big time with the current software build.

  • I just don’t see this taking off. I just bought a Moto 360 and I’m trying to find if I’m really going to use it as much as I’d like to. This while it seems neat for fun things, trip to a golf course, playing a sport, going to a gun range. I just don’t see it being useful in many situations.

    • For $200 or less, I would consider getting one of these, but merely as a “luxury toy.” The only thing that would kill me more than looking like a total dork with one of these on, is the idea that people would know that I spent $1000+ to do it.

      • I tend to agree, as an android enthusiast I’d but it if was at that price. But couldn’t justify it for anything more than that.

    • sorry you had to buy a useless Moto360.. instead i bought a nice Daniel Wellington watch lol.

      • I don’t find it useless, I actually just got the most use out of it today at the gym. It’s perfect for adjusting my music and getting my hear rate while I work out. I also responded to a few texts.
