I don’t understand why phone manufacturers haven’t implemented front facing speakers more often. I get tired of cupping my hands behind my phone to hear a video.

well, this is FRONT design, while iphone 5′s BACK is a engineering solution for ANTENNAS: aluminum = no signal. Those Apple’s plastic parts are for antennas, it’s NOT design, it’s a engineering solution! The would make a full aluminum back if it could transmit signals.

DROID X has a very similar design.
BB Z10 has a similar design.

Ok, similar to what?
If we increase a display size to the maximum, keeping the smallest possible space for the front speaker(s) and CAMERA, we’ll have this design.

We can remove buttons and speakers and front cameras and have a BLACK display basically with 1mm metal bezel.

Apple iphone 2007-2012 = LG Prada 2006. So what? Apple iPrada?

SUMMARY:

HTC One’s FRONT =/= iphone 5 front.
HTC One’s FRONT =/= BB Z10 front.
HTC One’s FRONT =/= DROID X front.

I’ve actually been extremely happy with my DNA battery. That new processor paired with the Qualcomm LTE chip makes a giant difference. This has been the best battery I’ve ever had in a device. Big change for HTC. Then again I’ve never owned the MAXX and for good reason.

What do you expect they’ve ripped everything they know out of the apple play book and conspire in every way to be apple. Did you miss the whole trial and all the documents that were shown? They literally state that features don’t look like the iPhone enough and to change them. The one place they didn’t straight up copy apple was build quality (more than likely because they can’t) as they are not even in the same ball game as apple in that regard. HTC is looking mighty good lately and hopefully they won’t make the same mistake they did with the one x and only putting it on AT&T as they clearly have always made a much better device than Samsung ever has or ever wished to make.

I’m sorry but you, sir are 100% wrong. Nothing about touch wiz is good. It is an awful UI and is not even close to why they are the number one selling android manufacture. It is because HTC is in a slump (but make much better quality devices), Motorola is an absolute joke and make horrible devices (even with google at the helm we will see if that changes and to be fair we are still seeing part of Sanjay in the current lineup), LG is well, LG, and ASUS and others are much too small and use horrible components. It seems to me that android oems are just not very good right now so android was ripe for the taking. Don’t kid yourself though as it can be taken back as Samsung isn’t doing that great of a job. The reason they are selling is android is popular, but touchwiz is absolute garbage especially when running side by side with vanilla android.
