They most likely have a new Droid phone in the works and don’t want to carry such a strong competitor device.

HTC needs to do charity work for one more year on Verizon with a Droid DNA Deux before getting Verizon to take the One. Sprint was a cheaper date with only one year of EVO charity. AT&T had the real exclusivity on a flagship One, while TMobile agreed to take a “One” branded lower grade variant, even though it was not really a “One”. It took Samsung 3 generations of customization and butchered Galaxy brands like Skyrocket, Attain, Vibrant, Fascinate, etc, before they had enough ever age to tell Verizon to “take it or leave it”

I have read multiple people/sites state the DNA is the reason…not buying it. ATT just got a fantastic HTC One X+ about the same time the DNA was released, yet they are still going to offer the ONE. Really ticks me off Verizon is not in on this launch, may switch back to ATT, grrr.

Tmobile needed this Htc device more than Verizon, At@t, or Sprint. I am happy they will get this one matter of fact they should throw a sdcard slot on it so 64gb can be used their too.

Much agreed, I dumped Verizon June 2012 due to the Galaxy Nexus fiasco for Tmobile and haven’t looked back. Here in New York City Tmobile bitch slaps Verizon all day long and my Galaxy Note 2 looks like the intended device created by the manufacturer and it just works superbly on it’s Hspa Plus 42mpbs network. Not on Verizon’s over saturated slowed down over priced LTE network. Verizon is a pitiful conclusion and anyone walking around with that silly graffiti filled cosmetically changed Galaxy Note 2 on Verizon is foolish. Matter of fact I have yet to even see anyone walking around the city of New York with a Verizon Galaxy Note 2. Haven’t seen one walking down the street nor have I ever seen one on the subways or buses during my daily travels. Guess they are embarrassed.

At least they got the DNA out on VZW prior to Christmas! There was a time last year when the Incredible LTE was endlessly delayed where I was worried the Rezound was gonna be the final HTC device on Big Red!
