Honestly Sense has become a bloated UI and needs to be cleaned up, improved or dropped. I don’t see how HTC stays alive given their complete failure to update any 2011 or 2012 phones as PROMISED, until they retracted that promise. No thanks HTC.

Honestly the Android battery icon is useless. I always look at the percentage instead. I think the icon is purposely misleading so it feels like people are not using battery life as quickly as they really are.

Agreed. Sense was actually part of the reason many preferred HTC phones over similar offerings.
And personally, I like the art direction of these screenshots. I wouldn’t say I’d want it to replace Holo, but it’s nice to see alternatives.

I enjoy all of the new stuff up there except for the taskbar, needs to be blue. Other than that I enjoy the modern look, still love jellybean but a fresh face never hurt nobody

Same on my note 10.1 but it doesn’t bother me as much as it does on my Evo3d because of screen real estate.

Verizon was the one that crapped up the GNex with their block on updates. HTC screwed up the blunderbolt so badly I really have zero desire to try another one of their products. I mean, they are STILL promising the ICS upgrade .. they just need to be honest and let people know they are never going to see it.

100% agree execept when you said Original Android UI is sad. I love stock ICS and JB, but I prefer Sense 4 more. I really think these “Sense 5″ screenshots are fake. If they aren’t, then I’m not gonna like Sense anymore it seems.

HTC is going backward. This looks like work of teenagers in the name of speed to sacrifice beauty like AOSP or TW. Original Android UI is just sad. Sense 4 is more beautiful.

I currently run CM10 on my One X and I love it, but anytime I am going to be somewhere where I know I’ll be using my camera heavy, I flash back to CleanROM.

The problem is a lot of the camera’s quality comes from post photo software processing, and that code isn’t open source. I still don’t get why Google hasn’t put the time into making state of the art imaging software.

You’re honestly missing out. Things have come a long way since the Blunderbolt. Samsung/Google did a crappy job with the GNex but I’d still consider another Nexus/Samsung phone. Moto can’t build a camera to save their ass but I’d still consider another one if they get it right. These are NOT the same phones anymore.

Yup. This is the #1 reason why I couldn’t do an AOSP/AOKP ROM on my Rezound. The stock Android camera software is garbage compared to Sense. I couldn’t live without my Sense camera.
