CES and breakthrough product evolution is cyclical. This was a down year. I am amazed that the industry keeps trying to cram 3D down the consumer’s throat. Most interesting thing? The Stern Avengers Pin home pinball machine! Sweet analog gaming!

The Sony ZL. It’s funny how a week ago, almost unanimously, we all would have said that Sony would be towards the bottom of a list of the phones to even contemplate getting and then…. My favorite is the Sony ZL. If it launches in the very near future, its specs are right on par with current top-tier phones. I’d definitely consider it if it hit VZW.

Nothing excited me as much as that new LTE antenna that can support up to a dozen (IIRC) frequencies. Put that in a device with a pentaband radio and you have a global device that can play with 3G and 4G anywhere there’s signal to be pulled down.

Maybe I’m getting old or something, but that’s what I liked the most.

Wouldn’t mind trying out the Asus Qube. I’m looking for an easier way to stream content from Google play movies and play music through my home entertainment system. AND I’m tired of watching youtube video’s about google tv, waiting, hoping for something that looks practical enought that I could use it regularly.
