Google play isn’t preloaded, it’s easy enough to install though

The big problem with so many of these kids tablets is that the Google Play Store is not available on them… Discovering that’s it really hard to get the apps/games you want on these tablets without the Play Store.

I ordered 2 of those Ematic FunTabs and they were horrible, they went straight back to Walmart. Ended up going for the Nabi 2 it’s a MUCH better choice worth the extra $$

True enough. There are other attractively priced Tabs out there as well at that ~$100 Price Point. I just don’t care to limit the purchase to something that looks like a toddler should be playing with.

We’ve been teaching our 19 month old daughter to use the Kindle Fire. Right now she’s just watching videos on it, but she’s learning how to use the touch screen.

The down side to that is my TV has little finger prints on the screen that is within her reach because she thinks that is a touch screen also.

I purchased the 7″ Nabi for my son. I got it for $129 from Best Buy and I would say it’s definitely worth that price. I don’t think I would pay $129 for the 5″ version.
