I never said that I didn’t like it, my point was clear. Actually I welcome it, I’m all for swipe gestures…I’m running Nova on the DNA and I set the swipe Up to go to Settings…love it. Sammie’s nature theme? Blech! No way no thanks!

That settings screen is great. You’re the first person I’ve heard that doesn’t like it. The icons are closer to stock on JB than ICS. Would you prefer the GSIII with its nature theme puked over everything?

Subsidized prices are typically with a contract agreement, so the pricing goes for new activations and upgrades as well.

Upgraded to this from Gnex for 1 cent. This phone is a beast. The build quality is top notch, the colors on the screen are vibrant and pictures look good, the size is very comfortable to hold, and the battery is a huge upgrade from the Gnex. It does have some minor performance hiccups here and there but overall this phone is rock solid.

So that swipe left Quick Setting is close to stock? Or settings themselves with the nice colored icons is close to stock? I guess just the soft keys makes people say that. But it’s also why the screen looks smaller than the DX.

The DX screen was huge in July 2010. Now the same size is “small”? The Moto add-ons are great on the M. It’s about as close to stock Android as it gets on a non-Nexus phone.

I will have to make sure to keep up with it… the rep did say it should go back so it will be interesting to see as we never “upgraded” through verizon, we just simply activated a different phone under that line.

See I’m going through Best Buy (they will price match AmazonWireless) which makes me wonder if it’ll make things easier or if they’ll tell me one thing and come back in a week later and get a different story.

Can’t speak for VZW, but Amazon is a penny for new lines and upgraders. They are out of stock of the black color right now though. White is in stock still.

Yeah happened when I upgraded my mother. She lost the double data promo and dropped to 2gb. I didn’t think I could fight it though. It’s been months now so there’s probably nothing I can do
