Part of the problem with this is that the phone itself is geared towards movies, pics, vids and gaming..... you can't do much of that with 16GB (you can if you continually shuffle stuff around). Lets remember that you aren't really getting 16GB... more like 10-11.

Why bother releasing the best screen, best processor with 2GB of RAM and only leave people with less than 16GB!!!.. Who in HTC's camp put this together and said yeah.... no extended memory is awesome!!! It's stupidity like this that is making HTC lose money along with not releasing the phone to all carriers! Seriously was salivating for this phone and then the specs come out for the battery and no expandable memory (PASS). There really is no point in releasing a super "Entertainment" driven phone and then leave you without enough room to put anything on it after you install the usual apps and games. Holy fail batman!! They even gloat about the fact that games would be awesome on this.... too bad you can only have about 2 of the top games on the phone at a time. Most of them are in the GB range as far as how much memory they take!

That would be excellent! But I still won't buy it unless I can have at least 32GB of storage. Oh well, hopefully there are other beast-like phones just around the corner (maybe wishful thinking...).

The J Butterfly is going to Japan, China and Taiwan. China does not have cloud services with Google. I am not sure about Taiwan. I have my facts straight, thanks.

I agree that cloud services are easier, that is why I said what I did. Your originally comment was

"Verizon got rid of unlimited data and is now forcing MFG to limit on board memory, they want more money!"

That is where I came in. That is why I commented that Verizon isn't the one to blame here for missing SD Cards, but the finger should be pointed more in Google's direction if you are going to be upset about it. You were the one commenting on inexperienced users, airplanes and long commutes. Your side of the argument is pretty hard to see.

What one of the founders said might possibly be different from what Google/Android stated after the release of ICS. With the new trend of incorporating manufacturer's custom additions into 4.2 that doesn't surprise me much.
