I bought the Galaxy Nexus (full price) and was able to keep my current contract. The phone did come to me in “near new” condition and have been happy so far. I was told you cannot buy this in store, however, you must go to the store to get a micro sim (free) if you have a regular sim card. I am happy to have Jelly Bean (4.1), however, I do hope 4.2 will work and be just as speedy. I came from a Droid Charge and do not play games. I do not regret my purchase and would do it again.

They are back up to $449 now off-contract. I got one at the lower price but had to do a monthly contract, which I will cancel once the phone arrives today. I’ll then have them activate the phone on my existing (unlimited data) line.

Just bought it, confirmed it’s the 32Gb model, kept my unlimited data. Also, I asked for and got the last ever new every two $50 discount since I am a 10 year VzW customer.

As much as I love my gnex, I would love to own another phone with a keyboard.

I noticed some people said they could keep unlimited and some said they were made to switch… I wonder what’s everyone’s data usage? Is Verizon trying to cut higher data users off?
