You bet! I’m pretty sure it was just Ukiah…I had 4G all the way up to Upper Lake Williams/20 exit, then it switched, but its a good sign that these towns are getting it!

I have a lot of family here on USCC, I hope they do get it here by the end of the year, though NorCal wasn’t scheduled to get LTE from them until 2013, I guess they could have moved things up as they have a lot of LTE already up in Oregon and Washington. USCC usually does our area last too.

Cool, thanks for the info! I am on AT&T, so I wouldn’t have any way to find out firsthand, AT&T is going to have LTE up on most of their network by the end of 2013, hopefully it will come soon for us. I live in Redwood Valley, have they turned it on out here, or just in Ukiah? The reason Santa Rosa doesn’t have it yet is because the city is fighting with VZ on tower modifications for LTE, so it could be a while longer for most of Santa Rosa, at least the downtown area anyway. I have a SGS III on AT&T, so when they get LTE, I’ll pick it up, but I do good on HSPA+ w/EB, I get around 10 Mbps down and 1.2 Mbps up, along with WiFi I can do anything I want with those speeds.

VZW lit up Ukiah with 4G about a week ago! And Cloverdale has it too now! I’m surprised they got it before Santa Rosa but oh well. A rep at US Cellular in Ukiah said they’ll probably get 4G by end of year.

AT&T’s network is smaller than Verizon’s, but isn’t worse. Their speeds are just about on par with Verizon’s in most regions that have LTE. Honestly, moving back to AT&T at this point wouldn’t be such a bad idea since new devices don’t use their over crowded 3G network.

Bestbuy gives you 30 days to EXCHANGE the phone for a diferent one if you dont like it. However your contract begins 14 days after purchase so your still locked in to a 2 year contract no matter where u go

If you are changing operating systems (iPhone to Android), then 14 days isn’t enough time to learn a new OS and determine if you atleast not worse off.

We’re still waiting on LTE from AT&T, Verizon and U.S. Cellular up here in Mendocino County. We do have LTE from Metro PCS, but poor T-Mobile, they’re still 2G

Also to their credit, they didn’t axe all family share plans in order to force you into a new exorbitantly-priced data share plan like Verizon did.

On a more personal note. I wish HTC made their flagship phones available on Verizon. I enjoyed Sense.
