Why do you want technology/storage evolution to stop? I don’t want to have to pay 20€/$ in 2020 for a 32GB SD card. You are kinda away from reallity if you think everything will stay the way it is. In the future they wont even produce 32GB SDs, because 64GB/128GB will be the smallest option, because the price goes so down that its not cheaper anymore to produce 32GB. Or do they still sell PCs with 100GB today? No, they moved to 1TB. 100GB is not in production anymore.

NO 16GB is not enough! what do you not understand?! if you stream everything you will have horrible battery life! it is good to be able to keep you music and movies on your device! You do realize that all the big manufactures make 32GB versions or more of their flagship phone! Its not just for fun! I know, I know “but you should just stream your movies and songs” blah blah blah

They did the same thing with the new chrome book, only 16 gb of on board storage too, and the N7′s, this is a push to get people to use Google Drive for cloud storage. By lessening the storage in the device, they think more people will just use Drive storage to try and get Drive mainstream and be a dedicated tool for people.

I passed the temptation to get the GS3 so I would get the next Nexus phone. But non-removable battery?! forget it. That’s crapple’s way for their idevices. This is Google, why you have to be like crapple.

It’s a nexus. The only advantage to a nexus device is it runs stock Android. The hardware will always be lacking.

try telling that to my tf201 (transformer prime) which has a class 10 64GB SD card that runs the entire os as i had to disable the onboard memory due to poor i/o performance…

I put up with it too,waiting for them to fix it,then gave up and did it myself,now it runs like it should have when I bought it, but if you unlock and root the GS3, then it would be twice as good and the Gnexus at least
