I agree with you. I also think that Google should start making some elegant designs instead of playful. I’m no designer but I can see that elegant has more success when comparing other companies (for example Apple).

Geez, get over yourself. And you’re adding a lot by defending Google on a blog…. Google is probably my favorite company out there, I just think they should’ve spent more time on the design. Apparently, that’s beyond indefensible.

Geez get over yourself. Google may not be the best company for hardware design but I don’t see you doing anything other than making lousy comments on a blog. At least Google has a “working” prototype.
So please, enlighten us all as to how you would design this and still be functional so that we may all be enlightened by you.

Except I don’t work for Google… and I don’t spend my weekends parked away at a computer doing CAD drawings for products I don’t have control over for fun. The point is, their design is atrocious and it wouldn’t have been difficult to improve it, except they haven’t yet. If you noticed, after my initial sentence, I used the phrase “seriously, though,” indicating of course, that my prefacing comment wasn’t serious. Although, your overreaction highlights the sad fate of humorous exaggerations on internet message boards.

Lame. Google Glasses should be used the RIGHT way, and not the WRONG way, and using ‘em at some lame fashion show is the WRONG way.
