I started with the OG from blackberry and was a game changer for me as well. I have the DRoid4 now and the 4g is killer when is use it for a hot spot for other phones and everybody in my office has jelly bean on their SIII’s. anybody know of a place to get JB for a D4?

GB and froyo aren’t all that different. ICS and JB are more intensive though. It’s still great having JB on this device. Hope we get the next android version too via a port. That’ll be epic

I still have my OG Droid, it probably deserves a sealed glass case by now! Hands down, it was one of the best things to ever happen in the mobile market.

I do this with my old OG too. In fact, the main app I use on it (other than the clock) is Lightning Bug — to turn the whole thing into a soothing sound machine for placing right above my baby’s crib. Across the room is my husband’s old Droid 2 rocking the same setup. Old phones never die.
