I have the nexus 7 too and I love it as well. I definitely am more likely to grab my Nexus 7 to go somewhere with but couldn’t imagine doing a days work on it. Xoom, for me, is the smallest form factor for content creation. The smaller form factors win for consumption though.

One thing lost with mobile OSes is windowing so having both is great. I can be working on my Xoom and have a reference book or website up on my nexus 7.

I totally agree regarding jelly bean. ICS has been great but it may be less stable than our last version of honeycomb. I can’t wait to get JB over the air. The fact that its coming though is my point….there are much newer devices that will never even see ICS. I would not be surprised if we get updated beyond JB down the road.

Yeah but it really needs Jelly Bean love. I agree with most of your statement, however compared to the nexus 7 it still seems a little buggy. I have both.

I paid full retail when they came out prior to the LTE upgrade in which I was sent the charging dock. (sold it on ebay for 30 bucks). But at this price I may pick up a second one for this very reason.

I own both the case folds out behind the speaker dock and reflects the sound. It actually sounds better with the case on the tablet than without because it is a bit louder.

I picked up two of these (one for the nightstand, one for the living room) from Newegg not long ago for a few bucks more, and it’s well worth the money IMHO. They must’ve found a warehouse full of these things because they’ve been on sale several times in the past month or so.

The sound isn’t amazing, but it’s better than I would’ve expected.

I got my Xoom 3g when it first came out and have used it all day everyday with bluetooth keyboard to do real work including programming both via RDP and natively with android app Dev tools. I’m talking 10 plus hours a day and traveling everywhere. Its so durable and regularly updated. The first “real” android tablet and STILL current. Amazing value for this workhorse.

Someone please answer this question before I order. Can I put I in the doc and then does it have a USB connector from dock to plug into computer while it is in the dock? I’m a developer and that would make it nice for debugging if I can do that. Thank you for any info!
