If it doesn’t get funded I don’t pay. If I pay $5 for it now and can help the dev that’s great. It might be that I paid more than it will cost in the Play store but I support the idea. Minimal risk for me in my opinion.

Because the xoom is a dev tablet, hence it’s unlocked bootloader from the moment you open the box. Look into unlocking, rooting and roming the xoom. Since it’s practically a nexus device in all but name, it has alot of option’s to improve performance. You can oc the processor to like 1.6ghz, which isn’t bad at all for a tablet as old as it is. The xoom is fine.
