as an android fan it’s painful to see these Instagram haters act so childish, even like iphone-ish users…give it a shot at least a day, if you dont like it then uninstall it and thats it. No body wants to know if your picasa or google+ apps does the same, so what! half of you haters act like this is a photography app when in reality its a social media app with a twish of photography, thats it!

Won’t download on my GNEX for some reason. Wanted to at least try it out. Also not compatible with TF101. Oh well…

The menu button doesn’t work. How can they call it an advance camera, when it’s less of a camera than the built-in camera. It takes square pictures, doesn’t let you select your focus point, should I go on.

Now that we finally got one of our friends to stop using the instagram filters on her iPhone to make the pictures worse, I can now do the same thing on Android.

Oh well, some people like this stuff.

Instagram is here, but after running it through it’s Few features, it has nothing on Pixlr-o-matic for Android. Pixlr has tons more filters and frames and can very easily be shared to more social sites and apps including Instagram.

My razr uses its own camera app for taking pictures and i cant turn on the flash/ my X uses the instagram camera full flash capabilities. ???

Why have to create ANOTHER social account to use this? Why not integrate with twitter or facebook? Seems like a horrible way to go here. Also, the app *feels* a little too much like iOS. WTH, did they just port this over from the iPhone without actually customizing it for Android users?

What’s with all the posts about ICS camera app being better? You don’t get Instagram solely for taking pictures. It’s the social aspect of it. Just like you wouldn’t sign up for facebook just to post statuses for journaling purposes.

am i the only one underwhelmed (spelling?) with this app? Pixeler-o-matic or whatever it is has a ton more filters, plus you can choose pics you already took, plus you dont have to sign up for anything. just IMO…..uninstalling

meh, now I can NOT use Instagram on purpose and not just because they were slow as hell releasing an Android app…I’m perfectly 100% happy having G+ auto-upload my pics to Picasa when I take them using my stock camera app, I have no desire for hipster-filters nor another site for my pics

Still the dumbest application ever. I don’t care about lame, overused, and utterly useless photo filters. I can already do that on Android with the built-in image editor that’s part of Ice Cream Sandwich. Moving on…

If you enjoy your pre-existing apps and filters, use those, but for those of us who have been waiting for this let us enjoy it. why the hell can i never find new applications just by going into the android market (i know, i know) and searching for them? i always need a direct link. you’d think on the day it’s released, google would know i’m looking for the actual official app and not the list of garbage it gives me when searching. the market’s such a damn mess half the time.. ugh.

Ok, so I admit it. I installed it to see what all the fuss was about. It is free after all, may as well see if it’ll change my life.

I played with it for a couple minutes and uninstalled it. I guess I’m not cool enough. I don’t need a slow camera app that requires I make an account. The ICS camera app already has a bunch of effects that I don’t use.

      I don’t care if it was on iPhone first… there are plenty of apps that were there first that I was glad they came to Android.
      
      But I’m sick of this app. I’m sick of people on facebook that put a filter on every single picture they upload. Its cool on some but on most it makes the picture look worse. It is just was overused I think and that makes me not give a rats behind that it is finally on Android.
