I just flashed this to my Droid RAZR about an hour ago and I gotta say that Im loving this build even though it is just a leak. I have all the RSD and recovery files in place in case I need to rever back to .173

But this build is pretty sweet and I love the new webtop software. Im excited to see the official update whenever we get it.

On a side note, I have tried a couple other roms using bootstrap and safestrap and i always ended up bricking my phone. This one works great and I didnt brick while flashing this.

I was just about to root my phone. Should I wait to get the ICS update? If i do it now will the update mess it up? I have droid razr. Sorry newbie here

Someone confirmed you can take screen shots on the ICS leak. I would assume they left the freeze bloat feature in. Then again…this is Moto and Verizon we talking about…

No doubt- back in December when I got my GNex, the Maxx wasn’t even a rumor yet and nobody believed ICS was due any time soon. I also hated how overly thin the OG Razr was. I think the Maxx is a much better proportioned device, and while I’m still not a fan of those beveled corners, that battery is enough to overlook them. Depending on just how Blurred this flavor of ICS is, I’d have to think about making the jump. I’d love to see the head-to-head comparison, esp. with the camera taken into account.

Take the pics off…and thats what I dont like….the big head blue icons where the pics go.

On stock ICS I would probably have to add pics for contacts since I dont like the way it looks. I never did that before…

I never use the people app i use the dialer and look at my contacts that way i usually end up clicking the search button and typing a name most frequently.. the blue bar is slightly cheesy but then thats the color theme of ics and no skin has shown me a better layout with ics

“ICS is perfect”

Since I dont like that light blue in some areas and the big head icons where pics go in the People app and other places…I wouldnt say its perfect.

At least one other person agrees with me…so for it to be perfect everyone under the sun would have to like …..everything….about ICS. Its nice…I wouldnt say its perfect.

The way Moto kept their icons for the Contacts pics and uses darker colors….I like it better than stock ICS. On the leaks in the About Phone screen it shows the phone and data reception separately. IF stock ICS doesn’t do that…another plus for a Moto change. IF Moto kept T9 dialing…would be another plus for a Moto change.
