I have Sprint HTC evo 3d
I installed Qrc, made it create back up, then clicked on temp-root
then went to system->software->update to 8.17.
Well it is not updating, its stuck when it restarts..

Quite frankly, rooting IS like updating. So I’m basically updating every weekend. The features rooting opens up, by far, beats any reason you’d want an OTA.

If you look on the bottom of the Nexus there’s a small sticker beside the Micro-USB that says “Qualcomm 4G”. 4.0.3 is supposed to have a radio fix, thus the explanation of where Qualcomm comes into play.
