You don’t need root to share via Bluetooth or USB on a RAZR. It is a standard free feature and I used the crap out of both in conjunction with my unlimited data plan. Does the Gnex not have this built in? All of my Moto phones could do this for free for ages.

What people don’t realize is Verizon employs 10′s of 1000′s of people. They have hundreds of departments and a lot of them are in different states. They don’t all communicate with each other especially from the top person down to the lowest person. So care/ sales reps who answer the phones usually don’t get informed when a different department has been tasked with fixing things like this. Thats why when you call in and talk to one rep you get one answer and if you hang up and call back you can get a totally different answer.

Its actually more selfish for people to demand that this stuff be posted only to have the loophole closed so that no one can use it. The best place for this kind of info is in the forums where its easier to hid the post away from the main pages.

I have unlimited data and great service and that is worth every penny I pay to them. For every 80 people that hate Verizon and are vocal against them there are 1000 that love Verzion, because they do the basics. They make solid calls, they have great coverage and they have all the features and phones you can afford(or not afford). AT&T should ask verizon for help on how to be a mobile phone company.
