you think so? I know they have an OTA update that will fix some stuff hopefully, but I find it hard to believe the delay is because they are working out kinks when the phones are already boxed up and in stock. thank you for answering on my question

I do agree with you also, when you mentioned that this blog it is not for regular users, but they mentioned all type of device for Verizon. I did not have a problem with these geeks changing the kernel and rooting, when we used to have just 516 of ram 1g MHz etc. They manufactures are making the devices so fast that to be honest i love ICS, but i can live with the New Moto UI and even touch wiz if it comes to that point. My problem with the nexus is that it should have been identical to the GS2, but Samsung took a step back putting pentile, bad camera and thicker. I have been saying all along that the nexus just have ICS and the freedom going for it, but when it comes to specs, the razr and rezound has the upper hand by a big mile. By the way you get your facts straight unlike other geeks in here.

I agree with you 100%...the Razr is a fantastic phone that your average user will be thrilled with. It's light, fast, and does everything an average user could ever want to do. However, it's important to note that Droid-Life is not a blog for your average android user. Looking at the historical data for the polls on previous posts, Droid-Life users are more "geeky" and prefer ultimate control over their devices. Does the GN NEED to be rooted and/or replace the kernel? Not at all. Do I WANT to be able to do those things? Absolutely. I believe in the freedom to choose what I can and can't do with my electronic devices (as long as it's legal).

You finally attempted to explain some logic behind your statements...but you clearly are making inflammatory statements (Nexus = Thick) with the sole intent of trolling. Is the Nexus thicker than the Razr? Of course! The Razr is designed to appeal to an audience that desires the thinnest phone they can get, so it's an extreme example that sacrifices one feature (removable battery) for another (minimal footprint). Is the Nexus a thick phone because it's thicker than the Razr? No. Relative to most other smart phones, it's average if not leaning to the thin side.

PS - if you're not familiar, "Come at me, bitch" is just an expression.
