Really hoping this comes to the Sony Google TV series… just bought the 24″ for $298 from amazon , it’s awesome and works great, but Market would be really great… and the “dual view” picture in picture needs audio control and some fixes… hoping Honeycomb will bring that.

What did you expect? Honeycomb isn’t even released yet for google tv and they just released the sdk to developers to start making apps. Did you think after like 2 weeks we would have hundreds or even thousands of apps with google tv support? What would you like them to show us if most apps still don’t have support yet? I never developed an app but I know it doesn’t happen overnight. I personally liked the the video since honeycomb on google tv looks much better then 2.2

Yes it does. Works well except using different keys than my normal remote. The search feature is great though. instead of going through everything on the box just start typing & it finds it for u. $99 isnt a small amount but for the few features of it i use, its worth it

I’ve read that it’s does not have a very powerful cpu and could not handle games well. If it can then awesome.

this kind of explains why i dont think itll happen, although that would be a fking amazing thing for the consumer, everyone knows the consumer is the last priority for the cable companies. they wouldnt give google that much control.

I love my Revue, mainly use to browse international content & few shows on History, Food Network, etc. Very happy so far.

I don’t subscribe to DVR service, but if I hit the Bookmark button on the remote the set-top box shows the “You are not subscribed to DVR service” message, so I would say yes.

The guide from the set-top box also comes up when I hit the guide button on the remote. If you want to use Google TV to search for a channel or show, just hit the Search button on the remote and type what you’re looking for. I really have no issues with the integration.

Honeycomb is what I’m waiting for, with the ability to browse the Market for third-party apps. That’s what will make my purchase worth it, since I’m a developer.

Actually, the set-top boxes were part of Motorola Mobility, which Google now owns, so I don’t see why it wouldn’t happen in the future. Although, I’d rather see them have Ice Cream Sandwich, since that’ll be out in a month or two.
