The reason the Galaxy S II isn't being released is because it's better
than the Bionic and Moto knows that. That's why the G S II isn't coming
out on Verizon to compete with the Bionic, it's why the HTC Merge never
came out last year to compete with the Droid 2, and is why the
Stratosphere isn't releasing on the day of the Bionic either. The only
way Moto phones can ever look good is with millions in hyped up over
marketing and releasing with no competition to show it up.

So because of this specially branded "DROID" agreement Verizon has with Moto, Verizon just bends over.

I want to express some thanks to the writer just for bailing me out of this issue. As a result of surfing around through the internet and obtaining ways which were not productive, I believed my life was well over. Living without the approaches to the problems you've solved all through the short article is a serious case, and the kind that could have negatively affected my career if I hadn't come across your web page. The competence and kindness in controlling all the pieces was vital. I don't know what I would've done if I hadn't come across such a step like this. I can also at this time look forward to my future. Thanks a lot so much for the specialized and result oriented help. I will not hesitate to propose your blog to anyone who would need assistance on this topic.

seem to be some angry people out there.
i guess people only can give their opinion if it matches yours?

the problem here is the people buying this phone wont know any better. they may have a lower price than say the bionic(probably not much lower knowing Verizon's over priced phones)
but they don't cut down the 2 year commitment needed to buy it. so they are stuck for 2 years with a phone that is already a year old.
This doesn't matter to us in the know. im also sure the people here so angry someone would say this phone is old and not worth releasing have absolutely no plans to buy it. But there are many out there that don't know. and the store employees sure aint telling them. so they will buy this year old phone thinking they have the latest newest thing and be stuck for 2 years.

what im saying is if they have low and mid tier devices than they should have low and mid tier commitments.

im sure well be seeing the phones hit 400 with 2 year contract soon. but you can get it for 299 with a 3 year contract.

i think if it wasn't for the 2 year commitment , noone would care if it was older tech if priced as such.

and yes i know you can purchase the phone outright without a commitment but the prices of this are just unreasonablly high.(and to stave off arguments on this. first yes we cant price the development and design time and such. but the iphone 4 costs 126 approx(not counting manufacturing costs) dollars to manufacture and sells for what 549 without a contract.)
