I completely agree. My parents have these 3 year old samsung candybar sliders and they have been thrown around everywhere, dropped on concrete, ran over by a car and put on the roof of a car and fallen off when driven and they still work with only cosmetic damage. My droid charge that ive had for 2 months (because of two exchanges with screen problems) is so banged up. My year old Droid x that i got a week after it launched (july 24) is less damaged than my droid charge. Neither had a case because it would suck to add a case to an already pretty bulky phone. I pulled it out of my pocket once and it barely scraped my sweathshirt zipper and and it was like you dug out half of the chrome on one side. I dropped it on carpet and the back dented in about 2 mm. What a shitty quality phone. Plastic samsung=never again, even if i do love there screens. I loved my thunderbolt

maybe… this new “google experience devices” may all launch with ICS and stay updated like nexus .. ICS will be like honeycomb in how different of an OS it was
