Thanks Shawn. You are very lucky. My daughter has the same problem but she just doesnt used the slide out keyboard at all anymore. Thats her fix. As for myself its the whole reason i bought it was for the physical keyboard. I went searching for answers on DroidLife as well and found over 50 posts on the crazy keyboard issue. i would hate to have to get rid of this phone after only 2 weeks

OK so I am new to his D3, but I am not seeing anyone post about an update for the phantom keyboard strokes that wiped out my entire grocery list yesterday. Or the yyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy continuining to run on when I text “thank you”. So did I miss this update or is this not a problem for anyone else? Thanks.

I haven’t had any battery issues but I came over from a D2G which was a battery hog, just hope they fix the camera. I am noticing the phone is starting to get a little sluggish as well. But overall I love this phone, it restored my faith in motorola

Do you keep WiFi on? I do and my battery wass draining superfast. I found the setting to have WiFi sleep when the screen turns off. This setting is off by default. I turned it on and am enjoying very good battery life now.

Mine as well does that all the time. I’d say at least 2 times a day. It can get really annoying and yeah it does happen for absolutely no reason. So hopefully the update fixes that.

That’s odd. Must definitely be only with some phones. My battery life has been great and I’m still using the stock battery and use it fairly heavily.

I really, really, really hope Moto can somehow fix the bluish tint & sluggish camera response issues via software. If so, then I still may go with a D3 over the Bionic as an interim solution. The D3′s keyboard is just so awesome!
