I agree. I was about to post something similar. My friend rooted his Samsung Captivate. He put on stock Android then started customizing it. He liked the Sense weather stuff on my Tbolt so he downloaded an app that looked like it. Then there were a couple other things he liked about my HTC phone and customized his to look and function a bit more like mine. He actually installed a Sense mod afterwards. I feel Sense does what I need it to do and does it well on my phone. And who doesn’t want to show off with some cool animations? LOL. I paid (and continue to pay monthly) good money to have such a powerful phone. Who doesn’t want to be dazzled with some eye candy? As long as it doesn’t interfere with the functionality. To each there own though. I personally think Sense is way better than Moto or Sammy versions of an interface. Sony makes a nice one but so rare…

The buttons for apps and phone are a skin. It still has the normal look of HTC Sense with the curved rosie bar. One of our devs got his hands on the official 3.5. No worries on the look it can be changed.

All those animations and the lock screen are already in Sense 3, the weather also looks identical. The only difference is the bottom bar, which can already change with a skin, which is probably all this is.
