This thing is pathetic. Won’t download. Just an infinite “please wait downloading swype”. Seems like I had trouble the last time. What should be quick, I now have an hour of my life invested in this nonsense.

You need to have it rooted first. After that, there’s easily a hundred different ways. Titanium Backup is probably the most reliable.

is there a way to easily restore the “user dictionary” that saved all the words you added to the swype dictionary without having to input all in? i tried the method on their forum and it didnt work.

Same here, uninstalled Swype then the Installer fell into some sort of Update loop where it kept saying it found an updated version of Installer. I would download, install, it would check the version and again say an update was available. Completely uninstalled the Installer…redowloaded from the Swype Beta website and it fixed it. But THEN downloaded the most recent skype and it’s still 3.6.84.26668.t100.26699. I don’t see the new features listed from the article.

getting a licensing issue now, says I don’t have a valid license and it will operate in trial more (AKA not at all). Tried generating a new one and it said it was successful but no dice…anyone else?
