idk but the best part about the android tablet wars is since all the tabs have the same os and hardware oems have to compete with price. my accer tab updates are fast and clean. and I’m a fan of stock android PERIOD. but to each his/her own. over the last 3 yrs skins have add some functions but they could be add in apps instead of os mods. 99% of vanilla androids updates have been smooth take the last 3 months and all the skined android updates nowhere near smoove and gb has been out since Xmas wow! now rooting isn’t always a painless and easy not everyone has the drive to fool with it. now the Sammy tab is a new possibility it shipps stock with touchwiz later. now if u update to two you can’t go back but imagine a gsII shipped stock and if you want two then u can update or not that’s sweet. I hope this becomes a trend

Not everyone has the time to search for a rooting method that is simple. Some are complex and very few have 1 click root. Also, not everyone wants to keep track of new updates than rush out than un-root to get the newest OTA. Id prefer it was an option while keeping stock. The point of rooting is to remove unwanted skins and add custom ROMs.

Ive read multiple articles that some Home Launchers crash alot, widgets disspear, Icons get re-arranged and home screens mess up. Ive seen it first hand and its happens to me a few times. The point of having stock is to have the original UI and not hunt for a new onea.

I don’t understand why everyone is complaining over skins on their android phone. Most of the people on this forum root their phones anyway. and when they root their phones they usually flash a custom rom. thats like one of the main reasons to root. and when they flash the rom it gets rid of the skin unless they flash a Sense rom. and if they do that and still complain about the skin then they are just stupid. and if you don’t root the phone most people download homescreen launchers. it doesn’t get rid of the skin but it hides it as if it isn’t even there. I think it still uses memory but with all these new fast phones coming out its barely noticeable.
