I just paid $22.87 for an iPad2-64GB and my girlfriend loves her Panasonic Lumix GF 1 Camera that we got for $38.76 there arriving tomorrow by UPS. I will never pay such expensive retail prices in stores again. Especially when I also sold a 40 inch LED TV to my boss for $675 which only cost me $62.81 to buy. This update had made my phone much better. Everything runs smoothly and no lag that I have seen.
I’m a bit bummed they left out some goodies, but that’s all they where.
Overall great update because this phone was starting to piss me off. I wanted to wait for root but there where to many issues to sit around and wait. Although p3droid has done work with it and is looking for testers. It is also known that you can sbf back.

My battery died in a couple of hours after I upgraded today. The phone was running very hot too. Anyone else having issues?

Same. It was just a little bit it did go down. At least the phone itself is faster on the home screen and such. No lag switching between the screens now.

My prediction:

The DX will eventually receive this exact same version of GB as its “fixed” final OS update. The D2, D2G and Droid Pro will also probably eventually receive this same version as well so those devices can be safely put out to pasture.

The X2 may eventually see a 3D Blur update to 2.3.4 or 2.3.5 but I wouldn’t count on it. I think Moto & VZW are content with letting all of their 3G Droid (Droid 3 aside since there will be no LTE equivalent for quite some time) have the “old” Blur & GB since those are all EOL devices. The X2 is the odd man out, as it arrived too late to the 3G party but came too soon to get all of the D3 goodness.

Oh well, the X2 still got GB faster than I expected it to and so far it’s extremely smooth, fast, and reliable, other than an occasional camera app hangup.
