During my time as a contract employee for verizon i was informed that radio shack had been cooking the books on their cell phone sales and that is why verizon originally dropped them..

They were partnered once before.. They stopped selling their phones for a reason.. and now they’re joining forces again… interesting..

Looks like they.have mended there friendship. This move will benifit RS greatly. And they will still be able to charge $7.99 for a headphone splitter .

Coincidentally, the most recent (and if I recall correctly, the final) ad campaign in which he was featured was for the iPhone 4.

Just because this website is called Droid-Life and is Android-centric doesn’t mean that its users (and authors, for that matter) have to possess undue hatred toward a competing platform. I, personally, would rather have the iPhone be completely ignored on this site because of the constant bickering between “fanboys” of either platform and unnecessary put-downs to its undoubtedly successful brand by both users and authors.

Let’s all stop fighting, and just make Droid-Life an iPhone-free zone!
