we are not talking about the ability or inability to customize. On the contrary.. pretty much all the customizations you can do on AOSP.. you can do on a Sense rom.. sense is just an overlay.. one of the customizing that you can do with Android.

Honestly I think the phone from a technical aspect is a bit underwhelming. The only reason I would even consider getting the Nexus S if it came to Verizon is because it will probably be one of the first phone upgraded to Ice Cream Sandwich. If the next Nexus is a beast like some of the latest superphones then maybe I will consider it.

I got $31.68 f.or a XBOX 360 and m.y mom got a 17 inch Dell laptop for $95.84 being delivered to our house tomorrow by FedEX. I will never again pay expensive retail prices at stores. Once rooted, the Charge isn’t that bad. I picked one up which will probably go to my wife when either bionic or lte sgsII come out. Its extremely easy to root, obviously screen is great, good camera, hdmi out, etc. Yeah it would be great if it was dual core with more RAM, but once you root and change the file system, its pretty fast. Did I mention to root it?

Which might not be for a few years. Gingerbread is in no hurry to hit phones so I can’t even imagine the timeframe for Ice Cream Sandwich. By then many of us will have had 2 or 3 more phones…
