This is really in poor sport of Motorola to not have this released yet.

Could you imagine if Apple came out with a new MacBook/iMac with a new operating system, but older models had to wait upwards of 6 months to get the update?

How the world do I get out of this X third device same crap going down. I don’t think I should be forced to use my up grade or pay a term fee I just want a device that works. Tech support is so stupid at verizon many times recently I though I was at Sprint I have to take a second look at sign on store. Phone support is just as dumb

If they were smart, they’d ditch development of the GB that is on everything prior to the Droid 3 and just port the Droid 3 version to the rest of the devices they want to give GB support to.

True, without 4G its a deal breaker for me as well. Moto beds to step up
their game that’s for sure. The SG2 is just crazy fast.

It’d sure be nice if we could get a clean version of Android (i.e. sans MotoBLOAT… er.. ‘BLUR’) I would think the cost of development, implementation, and now unhappy customers would be enough for them to scrap their software attempts and stick with what they’re good at, hardware. Way to know your market Moto.

I also agree that it’s very nice, I’m running CM7 on my DInc. My question is what about Gingerbread is so difficult for OEMs to get working correctly, that the Community Devs don’t seem to be having issues with?
