Is there a way to make it so that the messages that show up in GTalk coincide with the persons contact info? I have tried using this, but instead of it saying the persons name it says theirnumber@desksms.appspotchat.com. Do I have to keep adding this new “contact” to the already created contact info for the person?

get google voice. that bypasses their text count. text messages are sent over the “data” portion of what you pay for =)

i use my google voice # for people i dont know but need to be contacted and it works great!
