HAHA. No search button, more like a phone that is completely useless because of that. Why even bother making it if it doesn’t have something that simplistic. Who knows what else Samsung messed up.

You are clearly miss informed. With VZW in no case is 4G currently $20 more than 3G. That said, the $49.99 data only plan (available off contract) is limited to 5GB, likely to reduce the chances of consumers using their 4G cards in MBB devices to obtain unlimited data. Currently, all 4G data plans with voice service are unlimited. In fact, VZW is providing free unlimited mobile hotspot on 4G devices for a limited (but recently extended) time. Also, VZW has commented to having their entire current 3G network running 4G by the end of 2012. Recently VZW executives have said they will be moving to tiered data pricing, so I recommend you educate yourself and get it while the getting is good.

I like the look of the X2 but the specs aren’t what I was hoping for (dual core). I have the DInc and really like it but the DInc2 is also not enough of a bump to warrant an upgrade. Waiting for something better. Hoping the revamped Bionic is the one!

I would be getting the X@674d4a16af667421854bced94c134be3:disqus.. but my og droid broke.. and I needed a phone ASAP.. so I had to settle for the tbolt.. Tbolt is cool tho… just wish I had Tegra2 and HDMI out

There is a way to search using the persistent buttons on the bottom, I saw it on video. I think you hold the home button or double tap it. I was concerned with this as well because I use my search button everyday but the SGS2 does have a solution.

Yeah that’s the way i went. Dinc2 is a really nice phone.i don’t care that it doesn’t have 4g, yet! Maybe a year from now when the network is a bit more stable as well as the phones that run on them I’ll use the upgrade. For now though I’m really happy and while everyone continues to wait I’m enjoying a great phone that didn’t break the bank!

Get an iphone then. Verzion is going to continue to put bloatware on there phones, if you dont root and remove. (Also add a custom WELL DONE KERNAL unlike the stock kernal. Your batter will increase.)

Don’t get a Revolution, you don’t want that Bing trash. And unlike half the people on here, I’m not going to suggest that you root it just so you can get rid of it.

If you have 4G towers in your area get a TB or Charge. The data speeds are faster than most cable and dsl providers basic coverage. If you don’t have one coming this year or in the foreseeable future, get a DInc2. Trust me you don’t want your Android all Blurry.
