My notes are quite sensitive for developing ideas and I don’t think I’ll ever trust any cloud based system. I use One Punch Notes and it has always performed extremely well. Plus it requires zero permissions which is always an awesome thing with any app, especially one for development ideas. Even as software and pretty much everything becomes cloud based, I’ll not be a part of it for as long as I can.

I should point out that Catch was formerly 3Banana/Snaptic, so it’s actually been on Android since well before the OG Droid came out. I got 3Banana because it was the only note sync I could find that stored offline copies. At the time Evernote and others were slow and no 3G meant no notes. I’ve been totally happy with Catch ever since, and after they added notes besides text and photo I haven’t needed anything else (except TapeMachine because it’s awesome). Highly recommended!
