@Falcon34:disqus I am planning to root my Tbolt this week. What’s your suggestion for the best way to root for someone who’s not a major tech-head? You mentioned a few rooting methods. What do you suggest?

Hi, thx for the video. Quick Question. I noticed Thunderbolt has very low video playback volume when I record a video. Did this change when you rooted yours?

UPDATE:
FYI, I have been a big complainer of battery life of TBolt, however, since following the video instruction to manually root, I got rid of apps I’m not using and can confirm I no longer have issues. I probably increased the life of my battery by at least 3-4 hours.. Honestly. The scary part of this story is Verizon decided to release a phone they knew had horrible battery life to gain revenue in advertising.. Whores.

use root explorer to go to the systemapp folder and change all the apps that are like blockbuster and what ever you want to remove, from .apk to .apk.old make sure you only do it to apps that are addons like the golf game and other crap
