I’m using swiftkey and that seemeed to crash previous versions of firefox mobile I tried. Anyone know if this has been fixed?

tried. worst. browser. ever. stock is 100% faster and more intuitive.

It doesn’t even notice mobile webpages. I can’t stand the wait time to load a regular webpage on the phone. That and the lack of flash = no need, stock works just fine

No prob. Did some more research. Seems that the Norton toolbar will be updated in a few weeks (a little slow for my liking). Adobe DLM and Vuze toolbar are “working on it” (take that any way you wish). Skype has been blocked by Firefox until the issues with Skype are fixed (another “working on it” response). So it could be a bit before those extensions are updated and fixed for FF 4.

Outside of that, the only real issue (that I have seen so far) is the syncing. Other then that, it is a pretty solid browser now (finally!).

note: Haven’t tried it on the phone yet, so can’t say how it performs there. My only experience is the desktop version.

Certainly does help giving me some info on someone with experience making the switch. I’m sure over time the extensions will get updated to work with 4.0, but I’d rather just stick with what I have until all the buggyness for sure gets fixed (deleting bookmarks on sync, etc). I’ll see if anyone else replies. I’m glad that it will search for updated versions on the extensions though – thanks for that info! Cheers!

Latest Opera browser has flash, and handles tabs better than the stock browser. It’s been my new favorite for the past couple days.
