Yes ! Someone with an ORIGINAL idea. I love it.

But they’ll never do it. They don’t have the fortitude to say, “Yeah, we’re Samsung, we’ve got someone EVERYONE needs to get in their hands, and we’re just the guys to give it to them.”.

At $249, I’d buy one, just for the challenge of hacking away at it.

No they won’t. Why would someone pay $399 to buy a tab when they can purchase a Nook Color. Performance is about the same. Check.
Color. Check.
Screen size similar. Check.
WiFi on board. Check.
Expandable storage. Check.

This is what most people care about for a reasonable mid-level tablet offering. Why would ANYONE buy one of these, instead of something like a GTablet, that has a lot of support for it already, and most certainly will have a Honeycomb port, WAY before anything like that even HINTS at with this thing. Samsung is NOTORIOUS for dragging it’s feet at releasing OS updates. And for a tablet that will have no carrier pushing behind it ( even if only just for show ), do you think Samsung will REALLY get behind the ball and port Honeycomb to this ?

Here. Let me answer that for you…..No, of course not.

Now that you’ve been given a dose of reality, stop trying to spin this as anything other than……Y A W N.

Interesting to see if they allowed to have the Android Market on the WiFi only version. I thought Google wasns’t allowing market access for WiFi only tabs running 2.2 or anything else for that matter except Honeycomb because the OS wasn’t designed for tablet use.
