Alright, that’s more reasonable.
Though, I still expect XOOM to lose this round. In order to win this tablet war, it has to cheaper and not obsolete compared to Apple.

Although $600 is really high, I’m so glad they offer a wi-fi version, and for $200 cheaper! If I get a tablet anytime soon, the Xoom will the one I want now after learning that I don’t have to use 3G.

Exactly. A little more powerful would be nice. Dell is on the right track. I just need a house for MS Office and some tablet bling. Don’t need to run Angry Birds on a big screen.

At least it is not $1200 or whatever that insane price was, but I still expect for it to drop in price when the iPad 2 is announced. Though… there may be an equal chance they will just leave it at $600/$799, then do some tricky marketing and try and make the iPad cheap and make the Xoom appear as a higher-class product, but seeing Motorola’s marketing dept. so far… not going to happen.
