Comments on: DROID X2 Running Under Codename “Daytona”?

IMO – the “Daytona” is the biggest waste of development money that Motorola could throw away … The “Daytona” in actuality is not not much different then the DROID X, the housings are the EXACT SAME, the display is the same, different supplier a little better resolution but the LAYMAN will never tell the difference unless they were side by side in the dark.

As for the Hard keys ==> YES the answer is YES YES YES, the DX2 will have the same hard keys as the DX (as I said before, see above “housings are the same”). The only difference with the “Daytona’s” housing is the absence of a camera button, Moto has done away with the physical red button for the newly upgrade 8MP/HD camera …. there are no MAJOR changes to this device. If anything it should be the DROID X ver1.2 as apposed to DROID X2 … I’m just saying

Verizon has exclusivity for the DROID X … this means that the DROID X “like” in gsm or “Milestone X” would not be coming.

The LTE chipset is whats going to destroy battery life on the Bionic, so the X2 should hopefully have great battery life

Why can’t Motorola release a GSM version of the Droid X? Is it so difficult to do or Motorola is ignoring the GSM market?

That doesn’t qualify as a reason to introduce another device. If Apple said they were going to put out a new i*one and the ONLY differences were the screen resolution and processor…. you people would make fun of them hardcore.

It seems like everyone is just pumping out as many phones as they can. I love the Droid X because it introduced something new. This is just a rehash. No thanks.
